U.S. Spyder Ryders – Central Arkansas Chapter

About our Chapter and our Charities:

The objective of the U.S. Spyder Ryders motorcycle riding club is to promote Can-Am Spyders and Spyder riding while focusing on having fun and at the same time attempting to do the most good for our community and local charities. We accomplish this objective with positive interaction within our community while providing a safe and controlled environment for our members during all our functions.

As part of our objective of doing the most good for our community, our chapter has chosen to contribute proceeds from this event to these local charitable organizations:

Over 100,000 patients are admitted every year to burn centers across the country. While many burns are minor and do not require hospitalization, some burns can be very extensive or deep and may require hospitalization and surgery. Approximately one-third of patients treated for burns are pediatric patients.

Arkansas Children’s Hospital is home to Arkansas’ ONLY Burn Program. Founded in 1928, the Burn Program has been providing comprehensive, personal care to adult and pediatric patients. On average, the Burn Program admits over 400 patients a year and sees over 2250 outpatient visits.

The Burn Program is at the forefront of medicine, utilizing skin substitutes, advanced skin grafting techniques, reality and other innovative technologies to help patients recover faster, decrease pain and improve cosmetic and functional outcomes.

The Burn Unit at Arkansas Children’s is the only burn specialty center in Arkansas, treating adult and pediatric burn injuries.

The Tribute of Life Foundation was established to provide added support during a complicated time for hospice patients and their families. Focused on paying tribute to life’s final journey, Tribute of Life seeks to comfort grieving families while Celebrating Life.

Connecting people who have a heart to serve others with those who are in need of comfort, the Tribute of Life Foundation has established a variety of service opportunities for those willing to give their time, talent and/or treasure to make a difference in someone else’s final days. While the Tribute of Life Foundation is a separate legal entity, it works closely with Hospice Home Care (Arkansas) and Spring Valley Hospice (Mississippi) to identify specific needs that can be met with available resources.

Terri Clark Ministries was founded by author, speaker, minister, and avid Spyder enthusiast Terri Clark. When she passed away in 2020, the board of directors for her ministry determined to carry on her work of ministry- especially to the people of Uganda through the development of the Ray of Hope Medical center in Ntinda, a city on the outskirts of Kampala. Construction is ongoing and many lives have been positively affected by this medical mission.

Terri Clark Ministries main focus is providing a child sponsorship program which has enrolled over 500 needy children with over 200 of these sponsored by caring people from around the U.S. This program helps provide education and care for the neediest children of Uganda.
